My expertise as a handyman was developed over many years and in a wide range of jobs in the construction industry. My skills include carpentry, plumbing, decorating, electrics and all other handyman tasks.
Rob started in technical school back in 1997 where he learned brick laying, wood working and more.
After that rob opened a roofing company in The Netherlands and worked in over 10 countries on roofs and construction.
I got married in 2009 with an american citizen and moved not long after to the USA. Being in the USA now for over 8 years and completed multiple projects from small to big.
The combination of learning and developing a wide range of skills in the building trade, and the challenges of fitting bathrooms has made me the multi-disciplinary professional handyman I am today.
I offer a professional, reliable and friendly handyman service to customers across North Georgia.
I am Rob, and I have over 22 years’ experience across the building industry and am trained and competent in all building trades, with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general construction. I have extensive knowledge and expertise across all areas of building and home maintenance and specialise in the small handyman jobs which make a home work. Please see my biography for full details about how I became an expert, multi-disciplinary, professional handyman in Europe and now in the USA.
I can sort out all those handyman jobs which need fixing in one visit – from hanging pictures and putting up shelves, to fitting a washing machine, replacing bulbs and sockets, childproofing and assembling Ikea flatpacks. No job is too small and I am happy to do one small job, or work my way through a ‘to-do’ list to fix everything that needs doing in one go.

Call me, Rob on 770-681-4183 if you have further questions or would like to discuss some handyman work.
What kind of handyman jobs do you do?
Pretty much all handyman jobs – everything from putting up pictures and curtains, to catflaps, flatpacks, and small electrical and plumbing jobs. Please see the list of handyman jobs on this website – but it is not exhaustive – if you can’t see what you need on the list, please ask. I specialise in the small jobs which make the most of my wide range of skills, which you may have seen in my biography.
Do you guarantee your work?
All new work is guaranteed for 12 months. In the unlikely event that you were not happy with the work, I would return and remedy the problem immediately. Customer satisfaction is absolutely key. As a local business I depend on reputation and word of mouth. Some recent customer comments are on this website.
Do you do free estimates?
I do free estimates and am more than happy to visit your location to give you a personalised quote.
Who will come to do the work?
I will undertake the work myself – I have worked in the building and related industries for over 22 years and have expertise across a wide range of trades – see my biography for details about how I developed my skills. I know it is hard to find a really good handyman with extensive knowledge across the trades. If jobs are bigger I do have good colleaque carpenters and painters under our wing that I can utilize. For this will be more in price I will communicate this with the customer.
Will you bring everything you need?
I use professional tools and carry basic materials and fixings. For anything more specialist, rather than me having to go out to a shop when I arrive at your home, I suggest you buy the items yourself. Here is a list of shops, local and online, that I recommend.
Do you work weekends or evenings?
Most work is completed during the working day, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm but it may be possible to arrange an early evening or Saturday appointment. There is a higher charge at these times.
Where do you work?
Most of my handyman business is focused in Rockdale/Newton Counties.
How do I pay?
You can pay by cheque or cash. On bigger projects I work on a 50% upfront and 50% at final payment
Are you insured?
Yes I have full public liability and other relevant insurance. Documents can be seen on request.
Do you give fixed appointment times?
I don’t give fixed times, but a 1 to 2 hour window. I try to be as accurate as I possibly can to give a timeframe of when I will be with you. With variables such as traffic, diversions and unforeseen delays at a previous client’s property, it is impossible to give specific times of arrival. Or if i have to pick up any materials like paint or wood.
Do you take away packaging and boxes or have suggestions for storage?
I do not take away rubbish as the council charge tradespeople more than private individuals. I can give suggestions of people who can help though. For storage I recommend ……….Storage
